The Texas State Human Resources Association is comprised of dues-paying members, including four officers. Active membership is institutional and is open only to state agencies of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of Texas State Government who have persons employed in the field of human resources (other state agencies as may be admitted by vote of the membership).
The annual membership fee for the Texas State Human Resources Association is $75. Membership term is September 1 through August 31 of the following year. Member benefits include programs, continuing education, membership roster, and other materials for managing human resources in Texas state agencies. The voting member is eligible to cast one vote for their agency in the business affairs of the association. Each agency is limited to one vote in the business affairs of the Association regardless of how many agency representatives attend meetings.
Agencies may pay the dues for members via direct deposit (preferred) or check.

ASSOCIATION MEETINGS & SOCIAL GATHERINGSTSHRA meetings offer a great opportunity for the state government HR community to meet and stay in touch with colleagues. They are also a great way to earn certification credits toward your HR certifications.
As well, we feel it's important to participate in fellowship with our colleagues in social settings. This year, TSHRA will be planning meet-n-greet events for those interested. These events will take place outside of work hours and are not eligible for certification credit.
